Vivekananda Mission Asram  offers   the  self-financing  residential training course: Diploma  in Optometry    for the   session   2026-2028  affiliated  to  National Council of Vocational & Research Training(NCVRT) , Delhi.
1.  Intake capacity: 30(thirty)
2.  Duration: 2 years &  6 months mandatory internship.
3.  Age criteria: 17-25 yrs. As on 1st July, 2026.
4.  Academic  eligibility: H.S (Arts/Sc) passed with  50% marks & biology  preferable.
5.  Mode of selection:  Written exam.  &  viva.
6.  Availability  of  forms:  IOT office on working  days(9a.m  to 3p.m).
7.  Cost  of the  admission  form:  Rs. 100.00 (one  hundred)  only   to  be paid  in  cash.
8.  Fees:  Fees  are  to  be paid  every  year  at the  time  of  admission:
           1st  year   :  31,525.00 (Rupees  thirty  one  thousand five hundred twenty five ) only.
           2nd Year   :  25,525.00 ( Rupees  twenty five    thousand five hundred twenty five ) only.9.   Examination:  yearly
10.  Hostel  facilities: Accommodation   is  available.
11. Seat rent : i) Rs. 600.00 (six hundred) only per month.
                       ii) Food: As per own choice ( available from the  service  centre  in the premises)
