Vivekananda Mission Asram Netra Niramay Niketan

Vivekananda Mission Asram Netra Niramay Niketan renders regular services by running clinics at base hospitals. It reaches out to the community throughout the year by conducting outreach screening camps and running 25 vision centers (primary eye care centres). Through camps and vision centres 70,000 (approx.) out patients receive treatment and around 11,000 pts are brought to the base hospital per year for free surgeries. Camp services are offered free of cost. It also conducts large scale School Eye Health & Low Vision Screening projects and renders services to around 150,000 children per year. Special outreach programme is conducted for screening Diabetic Retinopathy & Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP).
