Individuals with Diabetes or under steroid therapy may develop diabetes earlier in life. Cataract can develop due to injuries also.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases with multi-factorial etiology. There is progressive loss of retinal cells leading to weakness of optic nerve. More than 90% of glaucoma cases in our country remain undiagnosed. Nearly half of glaucoma cases are associated with raised pressure of the eye. The exact mechanism of glaucoma is yet to be fully understood. The most effective treatment of this disease is keeping the eye pressure under control.

Cornea & Contact Lens

Contact lens are ocular prosthetic devices that are used mainly to correct refractive error and  also for cosmetic  or therapeutic  purpose. These are medical devices which require proper fitting, customisation and special instructions along with regular followups. We, here at NNN, have a special clinic, where, dedicated professionals conduct contact lens fitting using the latest technology.  We offer a range of contact lens like soft contact lens (monthly/yearly/ daily disposable), rigid gas permeable contact lens, sclera lens, toric lens which are used for correcting refractive error, keratoconus etc. Special lens are also available like prosthetic/cosmetic contact lens, which are used in scarred cornea, abnormalities like loss of iris, large/ irregular pupil given these lenses which will mask the scars/other deformities at the same time will reduce glare and photophobia. We also provide bandage contact lens, which is used mainly for therapeutic purpose, in case of non healing ulcers/ epithelial defect or impending perforations.
